Mautic is a cutting-edge cloud-based marketing automation software empowered by open-source technology. It focuses on giving everyone access to a powerful tool which allows business to get to market faster, market smarter and more flexible in a disruptive manner. It proposes a better workflow with a single solution.
In this step by step tutorial, we are going to show you how to deploy Mautic on AWS by using Bunnyshell, the easiest tool to manage your technology stack on multiple clouds. Since it is the same interface, the commands are similar on different clouds, including Azure and Digital Ocean.
Step 1: Log in your Bunnyshell account (cloud.bunnyshell.com) and open the Dashboard.
On the left side of the page you will see the main menu where you can find environments (you can see the environment as projects in your business e.g tracking, production), package bundles (a package contains apps that are already configured and ready to use), and one-click apps (apps like Jenkins, Wordpress and Joomla which are ready to deploy).
Step 2: Go to Applications and click on Create Application.
Step 3: Here you will find a variety of apps that you can deploy on your cloud. If you can’t find the app you are looking for, you can use the search bar located on top of the apps. When you found the app you need, click on it.
Step 4: Give the app a name, and choose: the location of the server, a virtual network, and the server size.
Step 5: Once you filled in all of the data required, you can move on and look at the bottom of the page. At the Packages Secrets you will need to write the root password for Mysql. Then you will find the package requirements for Mautic. Click on Mysql to see the data required for the app. If you do not add a password one will be provided by Bunnyshell.
Step 7: For the final step, just check to see if all the info is correct and then proceed to press “Create Application” button.
Step 8: Done! You will be redirected to environment overview where you can find the environment FQDN and IP adress to access your new Mautic instance. You can see all of the disks, certificates, and secrets. It is also recommended to move the keys into Resources to make sure that you have it all in the same place.
See? It is pretty easy to deploy any of the apps we support on AWS, Azure or Digital Ocean. It doesn’t matter if you have any of these clouds or if you use all of them, the process is as quick as saying Bunnyshell!
P.S. If you don't have a Bunnyshell account yet, you can create one for FREE here.
