Learn how to install a Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate
Deploying Let’s Encrypt SSL Certificate via Bunnyshell platform is really easy and fast and this guide you through the procedure.
By default, the domain generated by Bunnyshell for your application will have a valid certificate out of the box. But when you want to add a new domain, you will need to request the certificate.
Please note
If you are using CloudFlare Proxy for your new domain name, you do not need to do generate a Let's Encrypt certificate since you will receive a valid certificate from CloudFlare.
Prerequisites
-
Your website should be live. This means that you have created a DNS record and that the domain is mapped correctly, with your DNS records pointing at the IP of the Virtual Machine/Web Server
- You created a new domain name for your application in the Domains tab and the domain status is Connected
- You are NOT using CloudFlare Proxy
Procedure
-
From the sidebar click on Applications
-
Navigate to the Domain tab and ensure that the domain status is Connected
- Select the Certificates tab and then Add certificate -> Let's Encrypt certificate
- Select the domain from the list and then Generate certificate
